According to the public relations office report of the IRIPP, the 55th Session of the Codex Committee on Pesticide Residues (CCPR 55) jointly organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, on June 3-8. 2024 and was participated by 250 representatives from different countries.

Kazem Ramezani, the faculty member of the IRIPP and the head of the corresponding Iranian Codex Committee on Pesticide Residues (CCPR) participated in this session (CCPR 55). Return of Iran as the co-chair of the drafting group on "Guidelines for Monitoring the stability and purity of reference materials and related stock solutions of pesticides during prolonged storage" was one of the achievements of this meeting.
